Our dog walking fields at G & C Dog Fields offer a natural and diverse environment, but it's important to be aware of potential hazards. Please take note of the following precautions:

1. Terrain Conditions:

  • The field may have grassy and muddy areas, especially during and after wet weather, which can be slippery and boggy. Exercise caution and be mindful of your surroundings.

2. Footwear Recommendation:

  • We strongly advise wearing adequate footwear, such as waterproof and slip-resistant shoes, when entering the field. Proper footwear can enhance your safety and enjoyment during your visit.

3. Cautious Walking:

  • To minimize the risk of slips and falls, we urge visitors to walk cautiously and refrain from running, particularly on wet terrain. Your safety is our priority.

4. How many dogs are allowed in the field from the same household?

  • Only three dogs from the same household are allowed in the field at a time. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for both the dogs and their owners.

5. Can someone who didn't book access the dog field?

  • No, only individuals who have made a booking through the website are allowed to enter the dog field. This policy helps us manage the number of visitors and maintain a controlled environment for the dogs.

6. Are there any restrictions on who can walk the dogs in the field?

  • Only the owners of the dogs are allowed to walk them in the field. For safety and liability reasons, we do not permit individuals who did not book the field to engage in dog-walking activities within the designated area.

7. How do I book a slot in the dog field?

  • Booking a slot in the dog field is easy! Simply visit our website and navigate to the booking section. Follow the instructions provided to select your preferred date and time, and complete the booking process. Once confirmed, you're all set to enjoy quality time with your furry friends in our spacious dog field.

8. Can I make a booking over the phone or in person?

  • No, we only accept bookings through our website. This online booking system allows us to efficiently manage reservations, provide real-time availability updates, and ensure a smooth experience for all our visitors.

9. Are there any rules or guidelines I should be aware of when using the dog field?

  • Yes, please review our rules and guidelines section on the website before visiting the dog field. This information includes important details about safety, cleanliness, and responsible dog ownership to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

10. What amenities are available in the dog field?

  • Our dog field provides a secure and spacious environment for your furry friends to play and exercise. While there may not be specific amenities within the field, we focus on offering a clean, well-maintained space for dogs and their owners to enjoy quality time together.

You and your dogs⚠️:

 

Please ensure that your dogs are adequately vaccinated to use a public place. If your dog is showing any signs of illness do not use the secure field and be respectful of other pets and their owners.

At your own risk – uneven ground, long grass, wet grass, muddy and boggy field.

You agree that your use of the secure field is at your own risk, and agree not to hold ‘G&C DOGFIELDS its owners or staff responsible for any injury to you, your family/friends, or your dogs arising from your use of the secure field. The secure, fenced section of the field is a large outdoor space and contains areas of uneven ground that could be concealed under long grass or other vegetation, has overhanging branches from trees around the edges which may fall or have fallen and could contain other hazards consistent with the countryside.

You agree not to let anyone else into the secure fenced area, other than any friends or family members you have brought with you to enjoy walking your dogs.

By bringing friends or family, or sending somebody in place of you, you agree that you take full responsibility for their safety and for ensuring that they abide by these terms and conditions at all times whilst using the field.

Children⚠️:

You are welcome to bring your children to the field, but they must be supervised at all times. You are responsible for making sure that they do not injure themselves or break any of the terms and conditions. Please be aware that the secure area has not been made child-safe, and the field beyond is private property. Certain elements may pose an additional hazard to children (non-child-proof dog poo bins for example).

Buildings and specific obstacles⚠️:

You agree not to enter any buildings or other parts of the farm, including the rest of the field, and to keep at a safe distance from any moving vehicles.
Please ensure your dogs are in your car or on their leads before leaving the secure fenced-off area.

The Fence⚠️:

Although we will be inspecting and maintaining the fence regularly, holes or other damage to the fence may occur from time to time due to several reasons including digging by dogs or other animals, falling trees or branches, and general wear and tear. If you become aware of any issue with the state of the fence, please let us know immediately so that we can make other users aware and we can fix it as soon as possible. We cannot, however, take any responsibility for any dog escaping the field whether or not this is through a defect in the fence, and regardless of whether we have notified you in advance or not. If you find any defects please report it to a member of staff immediately. We are happy to help.

Using the field⚠️:

It is your responsibility to pick up all of your dog’s waste and dispose of it in the mess bins provided or please take it home.

To enter the field go through the main metal gates where there is off-road parking where you can park outside gate Field 1 or gate Field 2.
Please leave these gates as you find them.
The field gates can be bolted from the inside and outside.
Make sure they are always closed.

There is ample space for off-road parking inside the main metal gates, please do not park on the road and block the gateway.

Privacy Statement⚠️:

G&C DOG FIELDS is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We hold your personal information in a safe and secure environment to provide you with a service and for internal record keeping. Your name is needed to track payments and your email address is needed to send you the gate access code (which we will start using very soon ) and updates on information about the field such as closures due to maintenance.  By processing your booking and indicating that you would like to receive this information from us, you consent to us using your personal information as described above.

Your Data⚠️:

Your personal information will not be shared with any third party without your explicit consent.

TERMS OF USE⚠️:

Responsibility/Release and Assumption of Risk: The client acknowledges that the Services offered may be an activity in which damage or injury to animal(s) and/or persons may occur. The client will assume full financial responsibility for the actions of their animal(s) and any person(s) in their party. I/We Client understand and are aware that the Services described in this Agreement contain inherent risks and dangers which could result in death, injury, and/or damage to and/or by Client’s animal(s) which may arise resulting from, but not limited to, the risks of rural settings such as uneven ground, holes, or floods, the hazards of all types of traffic, dangerous dogs and animals, interaction with people and other animals, dog aggression, dog attacks, injury to animals or persons, exposure to areas with novel or unfamiliar stimulus, all types of weather and/or unsafe conditions, the dangers of civil disturbance, the forces of nature. In consideration of, and as part of the payment for the Services provided herein, I/We Client have and do hereby expressly assume all of the above risks. The terms of this agreement shall serve as a release and express assumption of risk for myself, my animal(s), my guest(s), my heirs, assignees, administrators, executors, and all members of my family, including any minors.
I have read and fully understand the provisions and the legal consequences of this Release and Assumption of Risk and I hereby agree to all its conditions, especially noting and agreeing to the release G&C DOGFIELDS and its agents, employees, officers, directors, associates, affiliated companies, subcontractors, and related individuals to the extent permitted by law, from liability for death, injury or damage to or by my animal(s), and assume all risks thereof and full financial responsibility for the actions of my animal(s).

We may use their discretion to stop and end the service at any time that a pet poses a danger to the safety or health of itself or other dogs, people, or employees.
Severability: If any provision of this agreement is deemed to be unenforceable for any reason, this will not affect the validity and enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement.
Either Client or Service Provider has the right to terminate this Agreement at any time by notice to the other. Client acknowledges that Services will cease upon termination of this Agreement. This Agreement supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, between Client and Service Provider.

1. For the purpose of this document the WE - G&C DOGFIELDS
2. For the purpose of this document the terms You, member, User, Pet Owner, Handler and I/We Client are synonymous with the service user.
